The arts are really draining my pockets dry this month.
First I paid $10 to watch Eric Khoo's My Magic, which I had been waiting for months for it to open in Singapore cinemas but ended up having ambivalent feelings about. Then there was MAAD at the red dot museum where I bought Sharon a handmade cushion for her birthday.
On Friday this week I will be heading down to the Singapore Biennale exhibitions at City Hall and South Beach Development Area, and that'll cost me another $10 (unless I choose to use my old matric card...). And two weeks later, I'll be attending a grand total of three screenings at the Animation Nation 2008 film festival.
And let's not forget the electricity bill racked up by my day-and-night scribbling on the tablet. Time to get back to my Kaleidoscope submission piece, or I won't be able to complete it by the deadline >___<
