the space between words

Am I glad that the anime event is finally over. I was so near "genkai" yesterday morning fretting about the lack of publicity and if anyone was going to turn up for the talk and how can we face our speakers and our (ertswhile) sponsor and CFA and the public that my blood pressure must have gone up several notches.

But in the end, things turned out reasonably ok. I shouldn't have doubted that we could count on the few committed members of the committee (you see, derivation from the root word doesn't necessarily mean equation) to support our own event. Thank you guys for being there.

I'm not going to relate how the event was like 'cos nothing spectacular happened, but that doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy myself thoroughly. It's been a long time since I've hung out with the club, and although I want to relish every moment of my last sem as an undergrad to the last, I also can't wait for the sem to be over so that I can go back to helping out with club matters and just talking crap with my friends again. I know it's a paradox, but who ever said human beings feel only one thing at one time?

Here are the photos my sister took at the event.

Note the interpreter in tight brown shirt and tight blue jeans. Whoa.
