My sister and I have just come up with the greatest idea ever! The two of us are still obsessing about Sweeney Todd, and it struck us that there should be a Visual Kei version of the film. And it should be titled... Sweeneykiss!
If you don't get that joke, it means you aren't a Malice Mizer fan...
And here are the potential members of the cast (and all of them are A-listers, I assure you):
Sweeney Todd - it's a tie between Klaha (Malice Mizer) and Kyo (Diru). Klaha has got the 'look' and Kyo has got the angst. Lots of it.
Mrs Lovett - Mana (Malice Mizer) and his interpreter XD
Anthony - Miku (AN Cafe)
Joanna - My sis wants Bou (ex-AN Cafe) because Bou is cute and looks good throwing stuff (like waterbottles) to Miku, but I prefer Kaya, just for the sheer irony of seeing a cute 'girl' sing in a deep, manly bass voice. Shinya (Diru) and Isshi (kagrra) are also possible choices. Imagine Isshi singing "Haru Ura Ra" in the window =X
Judge Turpin - Kamijo (Versailles)
Beadle - Yu~ki (Malice Mizer). In demented golfer gear of orange plaid and upturned moustache. =X
