Sometimes, I don't know who is more clueless about worldy affairs, my prof or I.

Me: I have two friends studying in Keio in Japan on SEP.

Prof: Keio stands for...?

Me: Err, Keio is Keio (oh what a brilliant answer)... It was the first university set up in Japan by what's his name... Fukuzawa Yukichi.

Silence.

Me: Erm, never mind about that.

Prof: Hold on for a moment, you mentioned another university. SEP-something?

Me: SEP?

Prof: Yes, what's SEP?

Me: (shocked) SEP is the Students' Exchange Programme!

Long silence.
