Our NUS Arts Fest Anime screening is finally over. And I'm proud to say that it was a success! A really unexpected success.

The room was filled to max capacity. And even more surprisingly, there were people who actually asked questions spontaneously during the Q&A session. I was like, is this really happening in NUS? People taking the initiative to ask questions? Why can't my tutorial classes be more like that...

But the biggest surprise has got to be Dr SA from the Lit department turning up for the event. Diana would have flipped if she was there (like she did when Dr SA came into the classroom with Prof WL for the first Tragedy lecture; I'll never forget how funny she looked panicking and asking "Why is she here? Why is she here?" in a frenzy). But it was a really pleasant surprise to see her there. ^^

So, a big thank you to all those who have made this event possible one way or another. KC deserves a mountain of praise for taking charge of the project when it was floundering and doing such a good job of it. We also owe a lot to Adeline from CFA, who is possibly our most committed club alumnus. And thanks to Sam for agreeing to be the emcee even when she's so busy with her projects, and Kenneth for assistance with the technical stuff. And thanks to Yijiang, Zirong, Gabriel, Joanne and Jian Ming for turning up to support our own club event too! And thanks to Kevin and Sam from the SS group (haha, we're not Nazi blackshirts) for giving their invaluable support too. Couldn't have pulled it off without you guys.
