The hour of reckoning has come and passed. And I'm glad to announce that I have miraculously managed to achieve my goal of pushing up my CAP to 4.7!
X'mas certainly is a time of miracles.
1) CAP just hit 4.7. Nothing more, nothing less.
2) An A for Singapore Film!!?? Even with the disaster of a C for the film project, a crappy presentation and an essay that was going in circles because I was trying to create a poststructuralist definition of "Singapore film" which was effectively self-cancelling!!??
3) An A+ for Japanese 5!!!!!????? Did something go wrong with sensei's calculations!!!!!???? I can't possibly have gotten more for Japanese 5 than I did for Japanese 3 and 4, not with the super-disasters of the presentation and oral test!!!! But I'm not going to complain about it, hehe.
4) A+ for 20th century and Body modules. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE 2 DR YS!!!
But while there are miracles, there are absurdities and ironies too. Believe it or not, I can't attend this Dec's Anime Chalet because I've got... blocked ears. Yes, you heard right.
It's a looooooooong story. Started with 1 blocked ear, father tried self-medication, and now I'm quite deaf in both ears. It's pretty ridiculous that the CCA leader can't attend the chalet because she's got blocked ears but it's even more ridiculous that the CCA leader can't perform her social roles as hostess and friend if she did go for the chalet 'cos she can't really hear what people are saying at all.
Therefore, I have to give the chalet a miss. I feel really bad about not being able to celebrate Yijiang's birthday for him properly (and it was meant to be such a superb surprise! ;__;) but it can't be helped. At least the DVD player and food will stil be delivered as promised.
