I'm back from the Anime Chalet!
In a sort of quivering, tingly, excited mood now... ~~

The chalet was much quieter this time as all of the alumni seniors and many of our own comm members could not make it on weekdays... ;___;
Next time, we're definitely going to have the chalet at Aloha Loyang and on a weekend instead! So that more people will come (and therefore, more money, haha) and we will suffer from fewer insect attacks and Zhijia will not be so uneasy over possible visits from other-wordly guests. However, I don't think we can avoid the usual creeps no matter which part of Singapore we escape to...

The BBQ was pretty successful although it lacked some variety in food (there was a prodigious amount of chicken) and I'm really glad everyone liked the chicken wings my mother marinated. Adnan even said he wanted to borrow my mom for a day! XD

Juliana also discovered the new taste of Marshmallows in Teriyaki Sauce and strangely, many people follwed her example (wittingly or unwittingly) and subjected themself to the *interesting* taste of sweet-salty Teriyaki-flavoured marshmallows...

And we had a surprise celebration for our graduating seniors! I bought chocolate cake from BreadTalk and (hopefully) everyone got a piece and enjoyed it. And Yanhua still complained that I made him break his boycott of BreadTalk!! No more cake for him in the future!! =P

For the first night, a few of us stayed over and spent most of the night playing (and I quote Qianhao) "intelligent card games". Then we had a round of PS games. I ahem, *attempted* to play Katamari and even though my Katamari basically rampaged uncontrolled through the world of the game (which I suppose was the point of the game anyway...), universal destruction was pure addictive fun. Banzai for innocuous cute-looking games that are actually pure evil!! Honestly, it was actually quite disturbing to hear decent-looking people like Yijiang and Ho Wai exclaim, with the greatest gleeful delight, "YAAAAYYY!!! SUCK UP ALL THE OLD PEOPLE!!! THERE'S ONE GUY THERE - GEEEEETTTTT HIIIIIIIIIMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!"

The next morning, we made waffles for breakfast. Then Qianhao, Ho Wai, Yijiang, Shilei, Ricky and I made our way to the tennis courts for a little whacking the ball around (over the fence) and picking them up half the time. We were probably more professional as ball-pickers than tennis players... -____-"

We then proceeded to Subway for lunch, where Shilei and I once again failed to finish our sandwiches and basically shoved them to the guys. After lunch (and much hunting for Vitasoy, thanks to my cravings) we returned to the chalet to play more "intelligent card games". Adnan was finally awake by then and he played this PS game where he magnificently slayed the dragon monster and then died after taking one step on the bridge and falling off. And he fell off and died 3 times in a row! Talk about bathos... O___o

Shilei had wanted to play ball games with this air-filled ball she bought as well, but the strong storm winds put an end to that idea. I had wanted to take a better look at the lovely view of the sea we got but my dad came around 5.30pm and put an end to that idea as well... -___-"

And now that the chalet is over, it's time for Matric Fair 2006! And that means it's time to take out those torture instruments from hell. Cute but evil things rule! Muahahaha... >=)

And the only reason I can gloat is because I won't be wearing *that* nor *that*...
