I think I'm going to start a new tradition for thespacebetweenwords besides the usual manga/anime/book/film review. I'm going to introduce my fav J-rock bands here! *clap clap clap*
Well, I'm going to start with one of my newest obsessions, Phantasmagoria!

Phantasmagoria is Kisaki's final band and was formed in 2004. For those of you who don't know Kisaki, he was the bassist of La Sadies, the band that later became the famous Dir en grey. If I'm not wrong, Kisaki was also once part of Lareine.
I have not heard many Phantasmagoria songs, but out of the seven or so songs I have heard, I absolutely love five of them, and that's no mean feat! Their music is gothic and melodic, with strong guitar melodies and bass lines. And I'm such a sucker for music-box melodies (think Cage!)...
Their image is quite old-school VK, with lots of pretty black leather costumes and black make-up. In fact, Riku's make-up sometimes makes him look like Kyo from Diru...
