Phew! The dreaded Math and Physics mid-term tests were over and done with yesterday afternoon.
But next week, I have to hand in my Pyschoanalysis take-home mid-term test and response paper on the same day!!! I shall not bore you with why this happened; I think I have complained to far too many people who have been willing to listen to me these few days.
Anyway, here is an interesting bit of information on witch mythology that I found in the footnotes of an essay I was supposed to read for my Shakespeare seminar:
...witches 'sometimes collect male organs in great numbers, as many as 20 or 30 members together, and put them in a bird's nest, or shut them up in a box, where they move themselves like living members, and eat oats and corn, as has been seen by many and is a matter of common report'.
Wonder what those people really saw? Ben says they probably mistook newborn birds...???
