I've just bought two new pairs of socks!
Commode at Taka was having the "2 pairs for $10" promotion (actually, the promotion has been on since the last summer hols) and since my mom ruined my pair ankle socks by bleaching the black trimming brown, I decided to buy more socks to substitute it.
The shop had such a great variety of socks to choose from but I eventually settled on a pair of shin-high black socks with skull designs and a pair of black-and-white striped ankle socks (you can see them in the picture). My sis bought two pairs of ankle socks; a black-and-grey striped pair and a white pair with a bright red floral pattern...
So now I have two new pairs of special socks to add to my sock collection! Believe it or not, interesting socks make me happy. Even if I'm not buying them, just looking at socks with polka-dots, flowers, stripes and tartans make me feel happy.
I've also got three pairs of striped VK socks (actually, they may be more accurately called stockings). You can see them in the picture too. The one with grey stripes is "over-knee" length while the other two pairs are knee-length. I usually wear them with my black leather military boots when I feel like dressing up in VK style. Incidently, so far, two people have called me "Jap Goth Girl" because of the way I dress (occasionally). It's funny how the two of them came to use the same expression even though they don't each other...
